Domenic S. Reitano, 82

NORTH ANDOVER — Domenic S. Reitano, 82, of.North Andover, and formerly of Lawrence, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Academy Manor Nursing Center in Andover. Born in Lawrence on July 30, 1923 to Giuseppe and Antonina (Bonaccorso) Reitano, Domenic graduated Holy Rosary Grammar School and Lawrence High School and also received his Associates Degree in fire science from Northern Essex Community College. Mr. Reitano served on the Lawrence Fire Department for thirty years and retired with the rank of Captain. Domenic also worked as a finished carpenter. He was a member of St. Alfio's Society. and the Lawrence Lodge of Elks. Mr. Rietano served in the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Navy.
The widower of the late Dorothy (Espinola) Reitano, Domenic is survived by his sons, Joseph P. Reitano of Derry N.H., Robert R. Reitano and his wife Lisa of Weston, Mass., Paul D.Reitano and his wife Shiela of Methuen, and Don A Reitano and his wife Kathy of North Andover; one brother, Salvatore Reitano and his wife Maria of North Andover; and a sister, Ramona Terranova and her husband Anthony of North Andover and Hilton Head; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
